Bend, Oregon Store Manager: Ryan Young
As a native of Medford, I'm pleased to run the first Orvis Co. store in Oregon. Having been originally hired to the Tyson's Corner store in Virginia, I soon opened the Arlington Va. store as their fishing Manager, and in 2006 became the store manager of Richmond Virginia. Fly fishing has taken me around the country and beyond. From my home waters in Oregon, to salmon in Alaska, snook and tarpon in Florida, smallmouth on the Susquehanna in Pennsylvania, and even dry-fly fishing brown trout on the river Test in England, I've chased my passion. As a long-time Orvis customer, I've continued to grow my respect for the brand throughout my life and am proud to bring the world-class customer service, and distinctive country lifestyle of Orvis to Central Oregon. When not spending time with my wife Susie, son Tyler, and daughter Katie, you'll find me on the lakes and rivers inventing new chapters in the sporting traditions of our company's storied legacy. Bend, Oregon Fly Fishing Manager: Kevney Dugan
Growing up in Western Michigan, Kevney grew up fishing the fabled waters of the Ausable and Manistee in Northern Michigan. After passing his school years focused on sports, he decided to head west to get back to what he loved most, fishing. After working for a small fly shop in Livingston, Montana he took his first assignment with Orvis at the San Jose Store. A year and a half later he found himself with an assignment he couldn't turn down back amongst the Rockies for the 2008 summer in Jackson, Wyoming. He couldn't be more excited to see new water and live in such a wonderful community as Bend, Oregon.
