Allegheny River Description

Tailwater fishery outside of Warren PA in the scenic Allegheny National Forest.

Techniques & Tips

Pounding banks with streamers during high water periods.

7-Day Forecast

Fish in areas of the river are becoming more active as Caddis hatches are picking up. However with dry warm conditions the river temperature away from the dam is too warm to safely catch and release trout. Smallmouth Bass and other warm water species of the river should be your target until things cool down.
