Rivanna River Description

The Rivanna is formed by the confluence of the North and South Forks of the Rivanna. After they converge the Rivanna runs for about 40 miles and empties into the James at Columbia, Va.
The Rivanna runs southeast through Albemarle and Fluvanna counties. As it skirts the edge of Charlottesville it provides fishing opportunities for anglers. The wading angler can find access at Darden Towe and Riverview ...

Techniques & Tips

Look for the fish to be around or near the deeper holes. Sink tips come into play now with the cooling water temperatures. Streamers and crayfish patterns are the go too patterns at the time.
