My tips of the week
Try weighted crustaceans in pink or chartreuse over hard bottom for pompano and trout. Use intermediate sinking lines to fish the beaches if there is any wave action.

Fishing conditions: Tarpon are the number one target for most anglers. Area beaches are loaded with fish but the pressure of many boats has given many fish a case of lockjaw. around. Snook fishing is excellent around the outside. The winds are light and comfortable and the water is as nice and clear as ever.
