My tips of the week
We have had a warming trend. The Yampa is wide open from Catamount down through town. April is a strong month for fishing around Steamboat Springs. Time to get out there! Yampa Is rising. The Elk has broke and is running dirty.

Techniques & Tips

Tailwaters- Nymphing midges and small bwo patters are productive. There has been a solid midge hatch around 11:30 daily. Inlet at Stagecoach - ON FIRE - Fish bead heads and egg patterns Sarvis- Nymphs and streamers. Off color and high now. Town- Still fishing great. Starting to get off color in afternoons.
