How does the BUZZ OFF process work?
The active ingredient in our insect repellent clothing is tightly bonded to the cotton or poplin fabric during the patent-pending Bug Shield treatment process. The built-in protection lasts through 25 washings. The garments should be machine-washed separately using standard laundry detergent. The garments can be ironed, starched, or pressed without any adverse effects. However, do not dry clean. Dry cleaning BUZZ OFF garments has no ill effect on the environment or you, but it will remove the active ingredient, which reduces the bug repellent capabilities of the garment.
Another exciting plus of our insect repellent clothing is that it is environmentally friendly. Unlike traditional bug repellents, BUZZ OFF does not constantly wash off in the shower, the rain, or in the stream, so it doesn't risk contaminating the atmosphere as sprays do. Also, the BUZZ OFF clothing provides bug protection on an individual basis, lessening the need for widespread fogging or spraying of neighborhoods. This clothing line is registered with the United States Environmental Protection Agency. All EPA registered products must also be registered with each state government before they can be sold or distributed in that state.
