 Jef grew up fly fishing the spring-fed rivers and streams of the central Texas Hill Country, targeting both largemouth and Guadalupe bass. Although warmwater species are among his favorite, he also enjoys stalking the saltwater flats of the Texas Coast and high mountain trout streams. John is also an avid fly tier and enjoys spending time at the tying bench creating all types of flies from simple streamers and top-waters for local streams to intricate, classic Atlantic salmon flies. |
