While the measurements on our size chart are very similar to most of the major catalogues in the market, the main thing that is different between clothing companies is the "wearing ease" built into the garments. We fit all of our women's garments on a size 8 model that is the exact measurements listed above. She is 5'6" tall and has a rounded body, rather that flat and angular. We generally have a relaxed fit- geared for travel or a casual outing. Pants, skirts, blouses and t-shirts have built in room for comfort and are not body hugging. When fitting jackets, coats or any outerwear, our model is wearing the appropriate under layers that we would expect the customer to be wearing during intended use of the garment. You do not have to size up for a coat or jacket- we have done that for you.
To find your glove size, lay your hand down on a flat surface and wrap a measuring tape around it at the knuckles. The distance around your hand at this point is your glove size - 7½"=glove size 7½, 9"=size 9, etc.
