Myrtle Beach Store Manager: Larry Tyler Larry was born and lived most of his life in South Carolina. He's worked and played on the back roads and byways of the Low country. He took up photography and learned to love the abundance of wild life in the marshes and pine forests. He enjoys the slower approach to life and every now and then seeks out the dirt roads. Larry has been in Retail Management for over 30 years and finally feels at home with the Orvis life style.
Myrtle Beach Fly Fishing Manager: Jan Peele Jan has lived in Myrtle Beach for 14 years and it is here he considers home. Introduced to fly fishing 6 years ago during his first trout trip, this new sport became an obsessive passion. Camaraderie, introducing, teaching, listening, and constant learning are what he loves about the art fly fishing. Not all of us get a chance to GIVE the life we live, Jan does.
When not in the shop, one can find Jan hunting native trout within the Ellicott Rock Wilderness, stalking redfish, or just doing some urban fly fishing around Myrtle Beach.
