Captain Steve Horowitz has been a professional fishing guide since 1997. He has devoted himself to fishing the waters of Biscayne National Park and Miami exclusively. An avid conservationist with a marine biology background he has been tagging bonefish for the University of Miami's Rosensteil research program since 1998.
With his diverse knowledge of Biscayne Bay he is equally adept at poling the flats for bones and permit as well as "bending the rod" for all those other species that swim in the Bay and tear off line. He is patient and hardworking.
Steves' been featured in many articles and is proud to be a friend of fishing Hall of Famer Mark Sosin.
