Weatherby’s Lodge in Grand Lake Stream, Maine, one of the oldest sporting camps in the country offering world-class fishing and upland hunting, is seeking a full time Head Chef / Kitchen Manager position for our seasonal lodge, May through October.
Duties for this position will include but not be limited to preparing home style suppers for up to 10-30 people which will include fresh breads, soup, salad, main course and dessert each night AND preparation of breakfast daily from a cook-to-order menu. The head chef/kitchen manager position will be responsible for food ordering, menu planning. The Head Chef will also work closely with staff of five and the lodge manager to coordinate staff, baking and food inventories. Head Chef will coordinate with and report to lodge manager on a daily basis.
Education & Experience
Food Safe Certification will be required for any successful candidate.
