Winter Stream Report:
The South Platte River above Deckers
Fishing remains very good above the bridge at Deckers up to the Cable Hole. Anglers should expect the best fishing between 10:30 AM and 3:00 PM. Nymph fishing is most productive, but keep an open eye for a midge hatch around 2:00 PM for the best dry fly opportunity. Expect to fish long leaders and nothing larger than 6X tippet.
Water Conditions: Current flow is 70cfs with exceptional clarity and temps in the mid to low 40s.
Water conditions can change on a daily basis. Please call us at 303-355-4554 for the most current conditions. Once the sun goes down behind the mountains, the temperature drops drastically. Be sure to have a warm jacket, gloves, and a hat with you on the water.
