There are areas of Orvis.com where providing your e-mail address helps to ensure you'll receive better customer service for orders and maintaining account information. It provides us with the ability to personalize your online experience, manage your account, confirm an order, to notify you when orders are shipped, in the event of a backorder, or to answer a question you may have asked in a product review. These instances are transactional e-mail requests. In most cases, your e-mail address is required to complete your request for products and services.

Marketing E-mail Requests

The Orvis E-Newsletter keeps you updated on the latest promotional offers, new products and improved services. In some cases, you'll even receive coupons for discounts to use at your local Orvis retail store. E-mail communications of this type are marketing e-mail requests. They are always optional and we provide you with the ability to unsubscribe from the Orvis E-Newsletter in every edition.
