Welcome to the second edition of the OrvisNews.com Dog Trivia Challenge, where we test your knowledge of all things canine. We will feature one of these quizzes every other week, and everyone who enters her or his score in the comments below this post will be entered into a random drawing for a NEW FleeceLock Futon Dog Bed, like this one:.

The scores from
the previous quiz
were outrageously good, with almost half the entrants achieving a perfect 100. So I’ve tried to make things a little more difficult this week, and I’m curious to see how y’all will do. The randomly chosen winner from last week’s Trivia Challenge was commenter CHoover, who was one of our 100-percenters. Great job!

These quizzes are intended to be educational, which means that even if you don’t get the answers right, you still learn something. So. . .take this week’s quiz, and no matter how well or poorly you do, post your score in the comments below to be eligible to win a great new dog bed.

Good luck!

About FleeceLock
It’s instinctive. As dogs prepare for sleep, they’ll often paw the surface of their bed. Unfortunately, this can sometimes loosen fleece fibers, resulting in worn spots on the bed and a constant mess for you to vacuum up. Those days are over. Our proprietary FleeceLock™ system features a luxurious fleece surface with a knit back, which is treated with a sealant that essentially “locks” the fleece fibers in place. The fleece sleep surface stays on the sleep surface, and won’t shed, pill, or pull free. And there’s no need to worry about your dog’s comfort: Our new FleeceLock fleece is just as soft and comfortable as our original fleece.
