Xander doesn’t let his disability hold him back.

The website viralnova.com has a wonderful story/photo essay about a Pug named Xander who was born without eyes. He showed up at a shelter in Oregon a couple years ago, and it was immediately apparent that he more than made up for his lack of sight with a winning personality. His adopted family had him trained as a therapy dog, and he now does good works all around his hometown of Klamath Falls. This is wonderful stuff.

  1. Cute Puppy Videos

The use of guard dogs in search and rescue has meant many more lives have been saved
due to their known endurance and their ability to
pick up on the scent of skin cells. This can be
done by giving them a treat when you put the collar
on. This includes simply eating foul smelling foods or it could be caused by something more serious such
as diabetes or kidney disease, if your dog has an ammonia-like or a urine-like smell to his or
her breath, this could indicate a very serious kidney disease that
    demands treatment immediately.
