Every year, hundreds of Orvis Associates from our corporate offices, rod shop, warehouse, customer service center, and retail stores volunteer to help clean up our nation’s roads and waterways as part of the
Green Up initiative
and in celebration of Earth Day.

Today, Associates from our Vermont corporate HQ spent the afternoon cleaning up along the roads of Sunderland and Arlington, as well as the Battenkill. On Friday, May 3, Associates from our Manchester retail store, outlet, and rod shop will spend the day cleaning up the roads and waterways of Manchester, Vermont. The official date for Green Up Day 2013 in Vermont is Saturday, May 4th.

Before everyone headed out this afternoon, we asked those with Instagram accounts to take pictures with the hashtag
