Well known fly-fishing guide April Vokey was recently featured on the Outside magazine website, where she made the argument on which this blog is founded:
“We needed somebody who could speak to us,” Vokey told me this spring during an outing in the southern Rockies. “Ladies want to fish—without their husbands.”
The accompanying video (below) is pretty low quality, but it does offer Vokey a chance to make some points about the male domination of the sport.
