Orvis New York Store Manager: Doug Lopez Doug Lopez joined Orvis as the New York store manager in 2006, bringing years of specialty retail management expertise to our team. Doug is extremely passionate about the customer store experience, and enjoys the challenges of presenting a unique store to the many visitors from around the world. Doug especially enjoys wing-shooting at Orvis Sandanona in Millbrook, NY, and snagging line drives while playing third base for his many softball teams. While away from the store, Doug enjoys spending time with his wife, two daughters, and the beloved family dog, Chloe.
Orvis New York Assistant Manager: Dylan Broadley Dylan Broadley has been with the company since 2009 when he started as a Sales Associate, it was not long before he made the jump to assistant manager in fall of 2010. He grew up in Southern New Hampshire where the Orvis lifestyle was second nature. During his college years he played Division 1 soccer for the New Jersey Institute of Technology, where he learned his great team attitude while also developing his key leadership skills throughout his four years. When he is not at the store he enjoys spending time relaxing with his Golden Retriever, Bodie.
Orvis New York Fly Fishing Manager: Rob Ceccarini Fishing Manager Rob Ceccarini has a long history with the Orvis Company. As a customer of our Greenvale and New York City Company stores, Rob learned to translate his passion for Striped Bass into learning how to fly fish the surf for Stripers, Bluefish, and Albacore. As Fishing Manager Rob and team have established the Fifth Avenue Store as a gateway to the Orvis brand through their local customers as well as visitors from all over the globe with world class customer service. As an avid Fly Tyer Rob loves nothing more than creating new patterns to deceive fish. He can be found fly fishing the waters in Montauk, NYC, Westchester, Upstate NY and the occasional trips out west or to the Caribbean. Rob is a dedicated conservationist and is an involved member of TU, TGF, FCA and Stripers Forever. A point of pride for him are the well attended classes, presentations and nightime events held at the store. Rob takes pride in developing his customers fishing skills through in store talks and taking them on the water.
