    Perfect Boot - 4/8/2015
    By: from Virginia

These are hands down the best upland hunting boot on the market. Extremely comfortable out of the box, waterproof, lightweight, and high-quality leather. I’ve purchased numerous brands over the years for deer, elk, and upland hunting. I’ll use these boots for all my future hunts. Like most items, you get what you pay for. Make the leap, you will not be disappointed.

The Perfect Hunting Boot - 3/4/2015
    By: from Mill Creek, Washington

I went looking for a light weight hunting boot and found many boots offered by others, available at lower prices. However, I wanted "Quality", because I do not buy new Hunting Boots every year. I have bought a lot of ORIVIS over the years and I know Orvis stands for quality. Therefore, I ordered the new Bob Sole Kangaroo Boot and LOVE them. You will to.

    Great Boots! - 2/17/2015
    By: from Fort Smith, MT

I received these boots towards the end of the bird hunting season and was amazed at the craftsmanship, quality and fit. I hunted in them for about three weeks and continue wearing them while training my dogs throughout the winter. They have held up great and feel great walking countless miles in the Montana countryside. Very little break in time and awesome traction from the sole of the boot. I keep the leather dressed and have had no issues with them not being waterproof. Truly "guide recommended"!

Ordered these boots on line after reading the reviews. They run a little long for a 10 but true to size for D width. After getting the boots I returned them. The boots are good quality but for the price I expected a little more.

    Great Boots - 1/31/2015
    By: from New Braunfels, Texas

Just used these on a quail hunt. I broke them in jus a bit prior to the hunt. They don't take much, but wear them a bit before you hit the field. These wore well and conformed to my feet quickly. They stayed dry in ankle deep water. They shed mud easily. Tongue not a problem for me. Laces stayed tight and secure. Leather supple but tough. Good buy for sure.

    New Best Friends - 1/27/2015
    By: from Marietta, GA

Put heavy pressure on these boots without the luxury of a break in period. Replaced boots for a romp through tough OK & TX thorns, cactus, springs and bob wire fences. These boots felt like old friends from the start. Three days of punishment nearly 10 miles a day from dawn to dusk and not a sore place or bruise to show for it. Just wiped off the dust and as soft as favorite slip ons. No issues with temps from mid teens to 60's. Water over tops of my feet-no issue, nice and dry. Better traction than other kangaroo boots. Worth the money.

Out of the box perfection - 10/10/2014
    By: from Tennessee

I slipped on these boots as soon as I received them, and took off for a 5 mile hike to start the break in process. They felt perfect from the first step! The K leather is soft as can be. They are very lightweight, but the thick sole provides great support. I cannot believe how comfortable they are out of the box! I'm a size 12 (normal width) and they fit perfectly with the mid-weight wool socks that I typically wear. I agree with other reviewers that there is too much tongue leather, but who cares? It didn't inhibit lacing at all, The leather is so supple, I never even noticed the tongue while wearing. I stood in a shallow creek for several minutes to test the H2Oproofing. All good. The tread was fine on flat ground but REALLY shined when I climbed up and down muddy creek banks and rain soaked leaf covered hillsides. I live in the south, but hunt/hike all over the US. This boot should serve me well in most, if not all, terrains.
