Favorite Boots
I have 2 pair of these boots. Basically the same except for the sole. One is the bob and the other what I would call a less agressive bob. I use the bob sole for mountain hunting (elk, deer, etc) here in western Montana and for any outdoor activity in rough, wet terrain. They are too heavy for mountain hiking in summer, however. Solomon's are my go-to boot for hiking. The less agressive sole Danner is my favorite for upland bird hunting in Eastern Montana and the Dakotas.

Great Boot
Received this boot a month ago and have worn it 6 days a week 14plus hrs a day. I am a Plumber by trade and avid outdoorsman. These boots are like a molded glove to your foot. Every step you take it is like the boot is giving your foot a hug. They are waterproof 100% have been in mud up to the tops and have excellent traction. Only con about this boot is the sole. It grips like four wheel drive but holds mud and is pretty difficult to get out. I have also noticed that even after a month of wearing the most comfy boot ever it does seem to scuff certain floors up i.e. Marble/slick floors. The GORTEX does not keep your feet warm below 47 degrees you need to wear insulated socks for cold winter days. Great summer boot.
