It turns out we do not have a 'normal' size sofa but because of the gripping material it still stays in place and works great!

I love this cover, so soft and comfy to sit on. I'm glad I invested in the cover to keep pets off of the leather. Cover is washable too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best. Cover. Ever. I've had this couch cover for about 6 months. I bought it because I was replacing my old fabric couch with a new leather one. My older shepherd mix dog could not be expected to give up his designated place on the couch simply because I had decided to upgrade. Therefore, I needed a cover. A good one because he had recently begun dribbling a small amount at night. I ordered this cover and crossed my fingers that my wish to have some nicer things around would not be destined for failure. Six months later I could not be happier or more thankful for this product. The best example of this cover's superpowers was when I witnessed my geriatric pup start peeing while walking toward the couch AND CLIMBING UP ON TO IT. Full on peeing. (Turned out he had a bladder infection.) I watched in horror as this played out almost in slow motion. My beautiful new couch could not come away unscathed. But miracle of miracles - it did. The front flap came low enough to cover the leather and the waterproof claim is no joke. Not a drop seeped, splattered or snuck onto the leather. Anywhere. Well done couch cover. 5+ stars
