Norwegian Flyfishers Club, Norway

The Gaula is famous for its big Atlantic salmon - 25 lb fish are common and 40 lb salmon are caught every year. The Norwegian Flyfishers Club is the outfitter to use. We have fishing over 7 miles of the river, English speaking guides, lodge and country houses accommodation where salmon fishers have been welcomed for over 100 years. We rent tackle and sell local flies. Access is from Trondheim, central Norway's main town and the river is easy to reach in just one hour drive from the airport. If you are looking for a salmon fishing experience in Norway, this is the place to go. Come and enjoy unforgettable scenery, fishing through magical midsummer nights in one of the best Atlantic salmon river in the world.
