Nice Material, Sized Small -
By: judithcaryn from Adirondack Park. NY
I love the fitting on my Orvis size M shirts that I have purchased in the past, so I was sure that when i threw it into my dry-sack for a paddling/camping adventure i would not be disappointed. The shirt is beautifully made and cut for a shapely figure and I loved the grey with black piping. When night came and i wanted something warmer and pulled the shirt on, it felt tight and uncomfortable. I was pretty bummed out that i couldn't wear it, but realize it's still a great shirt! I would still recommend this shirt but would suggest that if you want a little room to move, order the large.
versatile shirt -
I purchased two of these shirts and I'm glad to have them for active outdoor travel. They work well on their own or under a jacket or blazer. They fit true to size.
Wife Hooked on Dri-release -
By: Ag4Orvis from Austin, TX
My wife finally tried on some of my Orvis Dri-release shirts and became hooked on the superb comfort of this material. I ordered her 3 Scoopneck shirts and they are her go to shirt for everything. Style is great, quality is great. Just wish they came in more colors.
Unique Summer Top -

This top is very light, but not see-through. Great for hot weather and/or workouts. The seaming is attractive and the scoopneck is low enough to help with ventilation. I usually wear a medium and this seemed to run big-a nice comfy big, so I've ordered another medium, and a small to see how it fits.
Wore it and love it -
As usual with things I buy from Orvis, it fits is totally comfortable, washes a drys fast and will be packed for travel when I hit the road soon.

I bought this top hoping that I could wear it with the yoga capri pants (which are terrific). Unfortunately, the XL I ordered is VERY close-cut----not my style. However, the material is very nice and soft, and the construction is good. Perhaps I misread the information about the shirt, but it seemed to me that the picture and description indicated that it would be, if not loose, not tight. It seems to me that Orvis clothing is getting more and more close cut. I have been a devout customer because the cut has been a bit generous. I would be sad to no longer patronize Orvis.
Good, but not good enough -
The top looks fashionable with its contrasting trim. The fabric weight is thick enough to cover, yet thin enough to be supple. But, I returned it. Why? The sleeves were too long for my 5' 2" frame. Yes, I could have shortened the sleeves but thenI either lost the trim (one of the reasons I liked the shirt) or I had to match the stitching, never getting it quite right. Even given its excellent price, it just wasn't worth the money for a so-so shirt.
