Fun, Simple, and Delightful
I have had this a week and played a little indoors, but to see how easy it is to use, I handed it to my 3 year old grandson, and in seconds he was making pretty decent casts. I love the simplicity and ease of use, looking forward to warming weather to get to the backyard

Ease of Use
I bought this a few weeks ago and have used it both in the house and outside. It is small enough to use inside without causing damage to the house or rod. Also, our 7 year old has enjoyed practicing with it.

Practice makes perfect
I have been a fly fisherman for several years. I bought this product for my grandson to teach him casting technique. It does a good job replicating the casting motion which will benefit beginners, and it's also good for experienced fishermen to sharpen their skills in the off season. My grandson and I have fun creating casting games which encourages him to stay with practicing his skills. Now my son in law is using it too. Children of all ages will enjoy the PractiCaster.

Procrastinator's PractiCaster
Great for chasing my dog(fish) around my home and office. The PractiCaster is a fun and easy to use practice tool. Would be great for a beginner to get a feel for the proper casting technique.

Gobsmacked by the quality
I bought this for my 6 month old son, I know, I know, keen daddy but the amazing spend £50 get £25 off orvis offer I thought it's future present that I would get him anyway. I wasn't expecting too much but when it came through I was absolutely amazed at the quality, even for something that's not going to see a river the rod is beautifully made and casts great. The problem is now, whereas I thought that my lad could start having a play around with it in a year or so, I am now thinking it's too nice to risk breaking. The connumdrum is do I keep it until he is a lot older or keep it for myself, adapt it to take a reel to go on the small rivers and hope the offer is on again when the rod is in stock. Thanks Orvis!!!!
