Excellent Fly -
By: TroutFly71 from Western Maryland
This fly has never let me down. A true go to pattern for top water action. Will attract more than trout. I often use it as an indicator fly in a dry fly dropper rig with one to two nymphs or midges. I just can't say enough about this fly!
Well tied -
By: spkldtrout from CT
Nice tie; Orvis flies although a bit more expensive are well tied and reliable. Sometimes the discount houses provided flies that are inconsistent in color and the eyes are wrapped or head cemented so you need to dig to get the tippet through. Watch for specials and you can get Orvis flies reasonably. This pattern is a great all around fly for an emerger .

i used this fly late last season when the water was low and slow , this fly worked so well i could not believe it .i am going to purchase two dozen for this season. remember water conditions low and slow; size 16was the ticket good luck and tight lines !
It's a knockout. -
Just got back from the San Juan. All I did was wade fish. Put this fly on the first day and wore it out. Had to glue it back together. If you have ever been there you know there is nothing slow about the San Juan, 1100 cfm moves pretty good. Stayed at Fisheads, Orvis. Great crew, thanks Scott, Thadious, and Eric. Next time I'll try the float trip.
