Long Term Investment
I have only used my new waders twice since it's early in the season. I certainly enjoyed the good fit....very easy to get on and off. Liked the flexibility of the gravel guards and the quick conversion to waist high. I am excited (and optimistic) to check out how they wear on some rough fishing trips. Thanks, Orvis!

Waders that fit like a glove!
I wanted a pair of waders that gave me the option of chest or waist use. The Silver Sonic Convertible Top Waders are comfortable in either position. I also wanted a pair that fit my short 5'6" stature with a size 8 foot. The Large - Short size fits like it was made for me. The stocking foot cut is more like a foot shape and I was able to use in my existing wading shoes without cramming a bunch of extra sock material into my shoes.

FINALLY!! Waders built to your specs! These waders are perfect for our WV streams keep you dry both inside and out. I can't say enough about the perfect fit and comfort these waders provide. If they are as durable as I think they will be I will be an Orvis customer for life!

Comfortable and reliable
Needed a comfortable set of waders for the boat and ones that were reliable when fishing in the backcountry. These have been the best pair I have ever owned. Great construction and comfortable enough that you forget you are wearing them. Perfect

Excellent value
I bought these waders to take to Patagonia later this month. The fit is excellent and they are more comfortable than any waders I have owned to date (probably 15 pairs over the last 30 years). The only criticism I have is that it would be helpful to have illustrated directions as to how to convert them from chest high to waist high. I'll figure it out, but it would be nice to save time but having it laid out before my eyes.
