Questionable size -
When ordered, there was no size chart with this item, even though it said to check size chart. I called customer service, and they couldn't find it either and presumed the S,M,L were women's sizes. The gloves arrived and are too big but I hate to lose more money in shipping a wrong size back. If they fit they'd probably be a nice pair of gloves.
Kept me warm -

It works very well. I can't imagine not having the fingers uncovered and try to tie a knot. Even with the naked fingers, the flies would sometime get stuck on the glove over palm of my hand. It wasn't a problem, but it definitively changes when using gloves.
Well designed except color. -

The soft shell material really is quite water resistant - a quick dunk leaves it slightly damp, not water logged. These are pretty thin - allowing full use of your hands - but the material does keep your hands much warmer than if exposed to air temps in the 20's and 30's. I like that the fourth and fifth fingers are closed - a feature lacking in other "fingerless" gloves. The closed fingers means not only are these fingers warmer, but there are two less holes in the glove to lose heat. "Fits me like a glove" is an old saying and these have a precise fit like fine driving gloves with no excess baggy material. The only criticism is that after a stealthy approach, I have to move my hands to cast, mend and strip line. Eyes easily pick up movement. I'd hate to spook a trout because it interprets these dark moving hands as a kingfisher coming after it. Therefore I would love to see these in a camouflage pattern. But for now I'll stick with the two pair I own - changing to totally dry gloves if it has been raining or I've had to repeatedly dunk my hands reviving yet another fish.
Nice and tight -

Great gloves. Fingerless, but only on the fingers you need for knot tying, etc. I wear an XL, and these gloves are a little snug, but I like that in a fishing glove.

I bought these as a gift for my youngest son who is a locksmith. He has to work outside a lot & normal gloves hinder his fingers. He says these gloves keep his hands warmer !
Great for Photography -

I bought these gloves for an African photo safari I plan to go on. There will be places we go where gloves are recommended. But for doing my camera settings, I don't like to have the tips of my fingers covered. These gloves are perfect. They are thin enough to fit in a light jacket, and yet they provide warmth. As well, they present a classy look. I was border line large vs. extra large. Use the tape as suggested. I'm glad I went with X-large, as it is the perfect fit.

I got these gloves for winter swinging on the mighty MO outside of Great Falls MT. They performed very well in 9 degrees. I also have the soft shell foldover gloves and use these finger less gloves most of the time. For me i get the running/shooting line tangled a lot less without the flaps to get in the way.
