Tactical Pheasant Tail Nymph

Hook more trout with this pheasant tail nymph.

Details

Most anglers will find a Pheasant Tail or two rolling around in their fly box. This classic pattern was first designed by Frank Sawyer, the early 1900's River Keeper of the Avon River in England, to imitate the baetis hatches on his river. A strong generic nymph pattern that can be used in a multitude of styles whenever fish are feeding sub-surface, this tie has been slightly modified. Tactical hook is barbless and features a claw point.
