Our lab loves it!
Ordered two for our soon to be 4 year old Labrador Retriever as she likes to nest! Well, from the moment we pulled it from the box, she's been in one of them! Love the fact that the entire bed can be taken apart and washed!!! She is 60 pounds and we went with a large, but could have gone down to a medium based upon how since always lies.

dogs ❤ it and so do the cats
I ordered the dog bed at 4:00pm, it arrived before 12:00 next day. Wow. It is the fourth Orvis dog bed I have invested in. All four ate still going strong 6 years later. Fantastic quality. They may ne costly but well worth every penny. They keep their shape and support. Dogs love them. Thank you Orvis.

Treated my pup for his 2nd birthday. He gets set in his ways. Unwrapped the bed and he headed straight for it. Purchased a small size and the feature for a pup that likes to nestle. It is now his favorite.

Didn't hold up
I bought this for my Ridgeback about 4 months ago. He is has a very mild tempermant and is not destructive by nature but he does like to do some "nesting" type behavior with his beds to get into "just the right spot." The cheaper pet store brands didn't hold up to that so I went ahead and bought this Orvis bed (large, chocolate, polyester fill). This was our first Orvis bed. It was a good looking bed with a nice deep dark chocolate color and soft fabric. If he chewed a bone in the bed the fabric would show big drool stains which was pretty gross and it was of moderate difficulty to disassemble and wash the outside cover (gentle cycle, air dry) due to it having 4 separate inside pieces. The cover did collect dog hair which was difficult to remove even with washing. The support bolsters were nice and firm, but a little small in size and easily squished down if he had his legs over the side (see photo). The large bed size was spacious (he's about 90 lbs and very tall) and left him room to spread out if he wanted to. The bed fill was disappointingly thin, with areas that were just covered by fabric and offered no padding from the hard ground. Unfortunately, this bed only held up for 4 months until the bolster zipper tore open at the seam and the the thin fabric that wrapped the stuffing also tore open and made the bed unable to be salvaged or repaired. I thought this product would have been sturdier and more well made for the price. I would not recommend.

Fa purity dos bed....they said!
Our first Spinone pup had one of these beds last Christmas. Our latest addition muscled in so recently bought a second one! They both love them and look very comfortable curled up in them. Have washed and after as good as new- fab quality and thanks for the usual great service & timely delivery

I have a what is often referred to as a small 26kg Labrador he is from a working line so I bought him a medium dog bed. This was too small for him he likes to be able to strength out and he can with the large bed, he looks comfortable and as he has spondulosis on his spine it is important that the mattress offers support which the memory foam does. This bed looks great, is beautifully made and from my dogs expression is comfortable with the wrap edge offering a pillow.

High hopes
I brought this bed for my newest dog with the hope it will be as good as my old dogs bowser bed, that you can no longer get in England. I went with the recommended size, but was a little worried it would be too small, well I needn't have worried as it was perfect. Not long after starting to use it one of my dogs tiddled on it meaning I had to wash the lot including the interior, washed and dried beautifully and with the zip also on the fibre filled inner I could even out the stuffing so there was no lumps.
So far I am impressed and if it lasts as long as the bowser beds it will be worth every penny.

Good quality
This bed is a good quality and very well constructed. I wasn't sure how my dog was going to take to a new bed but he got in it right away and loves it.
