Tom was born and raised in Pennsylvania and was hooked on fly-fishing at age ten when he was given his first fly rod and began tying his own flies. While Tom calls the wild
trout streams and smallmouth rivers of Pennsylvania home, he loves to fly-fish for all that swims in the east, out-west, both in the freshwater and in the salt.
Tom has a wealth of experience in the business world, but is now living the dream with Orvis since fly-fishing has become his vocation rather than just being an avocation.
He is often quoted as saying, "fly-fishing is a tough "job," but someone has to do it!"
