Joe was a long time Orvis customer before he ever became the Store Manager. He's an avid fly fisherman, does extensive traveling in the U.S., and specializes in fly fishing our
National Parks. With over 30 years of retail experience in the outdoor industry, his product knowledge and passion for giving great customer service makes him a natural fit for
living the Orvis Lifestyle. When Joe is not at the store, you'll find him wading the Potomac River for "smallies", stalking trout in the mountains, or planning his next fishing
trip with his wife Diane. His favorite fishing places include Lake Powell, Utah, Custer Park in South Dakota, and the Shenandoah River Valley of Virginia.

grandfather at just a few years old. His path of fishing started with dangling Shrimp off the dock and eventually lead him to throwing lures with spinning rods and then to
Fly-Fishing. Although his favorite type of angling often involves a lengthy hike through the mountains in search of trout, you will often find him plying his local waters,
usually the Potomac, for whatever fish is willing to play. He is passionate about exploring new fishing experiences and introducing people to the sport he loves.
