Portraits by Diane Morrow

Portrait Artist Diane MorrowArtist Diane Morrow started drawing portraits for classmates in the 6th grade for 3 cents each and was an instant success--she drew 29 portraits her very first day! Passionate about art and design, she went to college for her BFA, started working in graphic design professionally upon graduation, and continued drawing portraits. She gave her notice at a publishing company while expecting her first child. Diane says, "I wanted to stay home with the baby and had already told the editor that I would be quitting, when I got a call from [Orvis CEO] Perk Perkins asking if I would like to draw portraits for Orvis." Thrilled with this unexpected new opportunity, Diane remembers, "The very first order came when I was in the hospital having Jonathan." That was 17 years ago, and today Diane is a valued member of the Orvis family. We are proud to offer her work to our customers, and know that you will treasure it as much as we do.
