Chuck Hawkins, an Orvis-Endorsed Guide in Michigan, created the Hawkins Rag Clown Egg to take advantage of this feeding instinct, and he ended up with a lifelike and colorful egg imitation that has caught as many large browns as it has trophy steelhead.
