dressier T -

Nice weight, nice neckline, haven't washed yet so don't know about potential shrinkage. Wouldn't mind a 3/4 length sleeve verison.
Versatile Top -
I have not had this top for long, but so far I love it. It is a flattering style, not too tight or too loose. I think it will look good with jeans or a skirt. It washes easily and comes out without a wrinkle. I plan to take it traveling.
Missed the sleeveless with season change -

I have the sleeveless version and missed it so much when the seasons changed I just had to get the long sleeve style! Comfortable fabric; one of my favorites. The end of the sleeves are a little flaired & lose, but not cumbersome, just unexpected. Love it!

I was unsure of the fabric at first but I can honestly say that it is now my very favourite and most comfortable top, so much so that I am sorely tempted to purchase another in the same colour (natural) because, worn with an off-white neck scarf, I always feel smart - love it

The "natural" colour comes out grey - a colour I never wear
By: sala from leeds
I wore it within days of receiving it at a special night out. I loved it. It was everything I imagined and more. Lovely feel, ecellent fit and beautiful. If garments like this can make me feel good and younger at my age then that's brilliant. I also felt it was fashiof. This top smacked more of French Connection and it was a move forwards in taste and design selection by you. I absolutely love it. It suggested lace and fit snug showing off my figure. It was comfy and stretchy.
Dressy Jacquard top -

Lovely top, but fit too large. I ordered a 14, should have gone down a size. I returned it for a different top.
Pleasantly surprised -

This top is made from a wonderful stretchy material that I've not seen before, and is a nice comfortable relaxed fit. The photograph of the top did not really do it justice, the material has a lovely design and an unusual pleasing texture. I particularly like the neckline, not too wide or too scooped, and the width and length of the sleeves is just perfect. Also a massive plus for me is the fact that it doesn't easily crease. If I could change one thing, it would be to add a couple of inches to the overall length of the garment, but that's because I'm quite tall. I'm very pleased with my purchase, and adore the colour, I just wish it came in cream and beige as well.
Good staple -
Comfortable, attractive and useful garment. As usual the sleeves are too long, but I think the problem is me not the garment!
|Tencel: natural fabric meets high-tech performance|
Eco-friendly and biodegradable
No fabric available today could better display the ideals of Orvis than Tencel®. Tencel is made of all-natural wood pulp fibers from trees grown on highly regulated farms that focus on sustainability. Not only is the material eco-friendly, but the process by which the fibers are made into fabric is, too. And when the clothing reaches the end of its useful life, it is especially kind to the environment. In fact, it is 100% biodegradable.
Moisture and temperature controlled for warm weather
The main benefit of clothing made from this unique fabric is the moisture and temperature control it offers to the wearer. Because wood pulp is naturally designed to absorb moisture for the tree’s survival, the fibers that are made into cloth do the same. The fabric pulls moisture directly from the skin and releases it into the air. Synthetic materials such as polyester do not take in moisture at all, but leave a film on the skin’s surface. And while cotton absorbs moisture, Tencel is 1 ½ times as absorbent. While cotton and polyester can both leave moisture on the skin in humid weather, Tencel does not, ensuring that bacteria will never get a chance to form between the fabric and the skin. This makes Tencel a truly safe fabric for all skin types – even babies!
Durable and soft for maximum comfort
But how can a biodegradable and moisture-locking fabric not supplemented with synthetic fibers possibly withstand the trials of daily wear and tear? The secret lies in nanofibrils – microscopic hairs that branch off from the outermost fibers. In the fabricating process, the nanofibrils are manipulated to give an all-natural fabric unnatural strength. Tencel even shows such strength while wet.
What’s more, Tencel is an especially smooth fiber, and has softness comparable to cotton and silk. The nanofibrils can also be altered to create fabrics that feel like suede, silk, denim, or as though they had been treated for a peach-skin finish.
Furthermore, these versatile Tencel fibers blend well with other fibers such as wool and cotton to create textiles more durable, soft, and moisture controlling than man-made fibers. Tencel clothing provides maximum comfort – whether you’re on the go, at work, or enjoying the outdoors.
A "feel-good" stylish fabric that's good for the environment
The Orvis customer can feel good about wearing and buying Tencel products – not only because they are naturally moisture wicking and very soft, but also because of the integrity in the source and the eco-friendly manufacturing process.
