Love the concept -

The Organic Hemp-and-Cotton Traveler's Sport Coat is a great idea. The pics look inviting. However, it is too "full cut" in the waistline. However, I would be quick to add that Orvis comes through again in their VERY generous return policy. Packed it up, returned it with the provided pre-paid form and off it went. Credit quickly applied. 5 stars for service but only 3 for the product!
Well made ... Needed tailoring -
Beautiful well constructed jacket. For a guy that wears 42L to get the right fit in the shoulders the jacket had way to much room in the waist (I have 34 waist size). Having it tailored to get the right fit. I suggest that slim fit options be offered for sport jackets.
over the top jacket -
perfect fit, design and sale price at time was to good to pass up. received many compliments. will consider buying a spare because i know that i will wear it outin a few years.
I love this jacket! It's very stylish and a great price. The fit is superb.
Very boxy and ill fitting -
One should definitely order a size smaller than normal, assuming you want to bother giving it a try.
Travelers Take Note -
This jacket is a real traveler's remedy for the "where-to-put-it" syndrome, but only if you have a good memory! It all but has a pocket for anything portable and for travel overseas, for which reason I purchased it, it is excellent. Light in weight and stylish enough to be worn for cocktails as well as for tracking cougars, the jacket is particularly suited for the warmer climes. "Raffles" in Singapore springs to mind. As does Taj Mahal visiting or a Tanzanian safari. For air travel it is a true blessing with being able to stuff almost every no-no thing to TSA on your body or in your pants pockets into the jacket's cavernous recesses. Try it -- you'll love it. I do.

The design is not practical for the probable use. It's very narrow and cramped in the shoulders. It binds when I put it on. The large size is more like a medium. I travelled and lived in hot countries...South Asia, the Middle East for 20 years. I always wore a sleeveless safari jacket that had pockets just as good as this traveler's coat. If I wanted to dress it up a bit, I had a linen suit in a suit bag.
"Go to" Travel coat -
Very good material! Use not only for traveling but informal get togethers.
Needs work -
Needs better attention to detail in the construction, some seams not straight. Also the dark green lining shows through the jackets fabric. My XL was very long in the sleeves, I washed it and it fits better now. Wish it was made in USA.

good value in a travel jacket.....practical with many pockets and presentable enough for very casual dinner dressing. Just received it and it appears well designed and sturdy.
