Central Texas. We fish the Llano River, San Marcos River, and the Lower Colorado River . These rivers are crystal clear and we hardly ever see another fisherman. Multi - day trips are also an option. Float fish Texas' premiere tailwater trout fishery. The Guadalupe River is ranked among the top 100 trout streams in the U.S. and is the southernmost trout stream in the country. The cold water emerging from the bottom of Canyon Lake provides the potential for year round survival for the trout.

Super lesson -
By: TxPhotog from Austin, Tx
I needed a tune up and took a casting lesson from Shea McClanahan, one of the All Water Guides. Shea was great. He showed up ahead of time, had several rods for me to throw (I'd mentioned I'm in the market for a new 8wt), and was very patient as we worked on my cast. He also showed me some knots and flies they use and went over proper hook setting technique. It was time well spent as it not only made me a better caster but should help me be a better fisherman. Many years ago I also took a lesson from Alvin Dedeaux and he was great too. I really like their friendly attitudes and look forward to fishing with these guys. Highly recommended.
Evening on the Colorado -
Fished with Winston for a few evening hours while in Austin on business. He was a great guide from the beginning. Excellent communication and he was extremely accommodating. He was happy to pick me up at my downtown hotel and arrived early to boot. Even though it was a slow time of year Winston was able to put me on fish. He was a pleasure to talk to and made the evening a great way to unwind on the river, despite the heat. I would highly recommend Winston and All Waters for anyone looking to fish in Austin.
Jet Sleds and Tight Lines -
By: RiverSlay from Austin, TX, USA
I had an excellent experience with All Water Guides. Not only was our guide, Winston Cundiff, thoroughly versed in the lower Colorado River honey holes, but also his custom jet boat is the fasting thing getting you there. Reaching fishy waters otherwise difficult if not impossible to access was an invaluable characteristic of our trip. He was knowledgable, attentive to detail, and prepared with all the right equipment for us to slay bass all day.
Fabulous Morning on the River -
By: COguyInTX from Austin, TX, USA
Jeff took my 12-year-old son and me out on the Colorado River south of Austin for a morning of bass fishing. Jeff was a great teacher, very patient with our amateur casting, and super nice to hang out with. Best of all, we caught and released 12 bass. What a great time! Jeff even kept his cool when engine trouble hit and he had to row us a mile or two back downstream to our starting point. Great guy, and an experience I will never forget!
Awesome experience -

I spent a half day with Winston on the Lower Colorado River, the fishing was slow because of the recent rains but we managed a few to the boat including a BIG Guadalupe Bass. It was the first one I ever caught an I was really surprised at how much of a fight it put up. Winston is a really good guide and friendly guy, I'll be back in the fall.
Go To Guides -
By: JMATX from Austin, TX, USA
You will not find better guides than this group of guys. Jeff Davis is easily one of the hardest working guides in the business. And he'll make you a better fisherman to boot. This is truly a fantastic bunch-hardworking,soulful and really good at what they do. If you're fishing with kids, these guys will take care of you. They are beyond patient and are more than willing to help foster the next generation of fisherpeople.
Dream Day on the River -
By: joemags from California, USA
Last week I went out on the LCR with Winston. It was quite honestly, the best day of fishing I have ever had. I lost track of how many fish I caught after 10. Winston was the quintessential guide. He knew the river extremely well and was able to tell me what to use, where to cast it and how to present it. It was really impressive how patient he was with me and how I was able to catch a ton of fish because of his knowledge of the river and the structure that held fish. This trip was everything I could have asked for and more. I would recommend All Water Guides to anyone and plan on going back in the fall.
Unplanned Spur of the moment trip -
By: wvTony from Charleston, WV, USA
I was in Texas for work, and I suddenly found myself with some unplanned time for fishing trip. I was not prepared, but Winston Cundiff hooked me up with everything I needed. The bass were still in Winter time mode, but the fishing was still better than in my home area which was still frozen up. I enjoyed fishing with Winston.
New adventure - Close to home -
By: KTFlyFisher from Katy, TX, USA
I've been looking for a fresh fly fishing excursion close to my home for a long time. Had a great trip with All Water Guides on the Lower Colorado in Central Texas. Alvin was the epitome of what I believe an Orvis Endorsed Guide should be; professional, hard-working and enjoyable company. We caught lots of large Guadalupe Bass and had great fun. So much so, I am doing it again tomorrow!
A great day! -
By: TexasTroutDog21 from Austin, TX, USA
It was the first of February and my best pal and I were fishing the Colorado River with Winston. We had a blast catching big Ro Grande Bass all throughout the day on fly. It was warm, water was clear, great conversation and only saw 5 People on the water all day which is a treat in itself these days. Winston was awesome and also a very interesting person.
