    Could be good.... - 5/3/2013
    By: from North Carolina

This fly has the potential to be good, if orvis would actually add some sort of dumb-bell eyes or a cone head for weight... I've caught picky bass with it unweighted but I've tied similar stuff with added weight so it can actually be fished like a plastic worm... It could be good, but in it's current design it takes too long to sink and can't be fished as effectively as I like.

    One Hit Wonder - 8/30/2012
    By: from Republic of Texas

I cast this into a lake with my 6wt and instantly got a hit and a 3lb large mouth. Then in a combined 6 hours of fishing over the next couple of weeks never got Wonderanother hit. The fly got pretty ragged before I hooked a rock and lost it.

    Great Bass Fly - 11/21/2011

I was fishing at a farm pond and caught this nice little one pound bass. Although small, he gave a great fight!

    No good - 6/2/2011

I have been fly fishing for bass, small and large, and this fly has never caught a fish. I too have fished at all water levels and never got a hit. I consider myself pretty good fisherman but not with this fly. Not sure why it is top rated

    Poor quality - 7/12/2010
    By: from WV

Maybe chucking this fly with my big ole 8 wt is taking a tool on this fly or it's just poor quality. I have one of the purple flies that began to fray after just a few casts and the tip of one of the red/black flies came off after just a few casts. Moreover, I have only ever gotten a few hits off of any of this fly. I fished it surface, sub and deep with weight.
