Don't put anything valuable on it! -
By: dfullerohio from Mentor, Ohio
I recently bought the magnetic accessory holder online. First of all, the button attachment didn't work and I ended up breaking the fastener before I even got it on my vest! Well, I was able to attach it on my vest using the remaining O ring. I put my brand new monomaster on it thinking it would be a good idea to have snap off accessability. Bad Idea! It didn't last one fishing trip. If anyone found a Monomaster with half a magnetic accessory holder on Boulder Creek last week, it was mine! Don't put anything you want to keep on this product. You'll be sorry.

clever idea and strong magnet! i always used a zinger, but for some items, the freedom from attachment is necessary (such as for a knot-tying tool). this little clip is a perfect solution.
Signs of rust -
A handy little gadget, unfortunately let down by the fact the clasp to attatch the nippers is already showing signs of rust, after only 1 session on the riverbank. Perhaps they're designed for the armchair fisherman, who prefers to look at his equipment rather than use it. Should come with a helpful note saying "Do NOT use if rain is forecast".
Not just for fishing -
I have been looking for something to use as a chatelaine for my sewing accessories, and thought I'd try this. It is perfect for my small scissors and needle case. The magnet is so powerful I'm sure I'll never lose track of the separate pieces.
Best ID badge holder -

I have been using it as an ID badge holder and has worked wonderfully. I have to wave my badge at a sensor to get through secure doors and it has worked very well. I wouldn't use it for fishing that weighs much nor costs much.
Good alternative to zingers -

This seems to be a better option for me instead of the zinger lines although the magnet sticks to everything!!

These work very well but use caution not to drop in stream.
Super Good -

I absolutely love this accessory holder. I have never quite been a fan of zingers because the string or wire prohibits movement of whatever is attached. This can become frustrating when dealing with a flopping trout. This item detatches and allows free movement of any accessory that you are using. The magnet hold nice and strongly. I prefer this holder over any I have ever owned and so I highly recommend it.
Hope they hold up! -

I like the strength of the magent and the fact that it retracts into a slot of a sort. Not sure though if i would put my expensive scissors on the end but nipper for sure. Maybe a clasp setup through the shirt would be better than a pin. We'll see.
