Details
Sulphurs begin hatching in the East in mid to late May and are typically an evening hatch or mid-afternoon on cloudy days. While a sulphur hatch can cause prolific surface feeding, there are times when Sulphurs are coming off well, but there are few rises. In this case an emerger sulphur fly pattern, such as this one coupled with a nymph dropper, can be very effective. The parachute post gives you visibility even when the fly is deep in the film. Fly pattern color in sulphur.
Fly pattern in size: 16.
