Too rough to walk on -
By: derbygirl from Galveston, Tx
The half ramp has a walking surface that is basically hard sand paper. While unloading it from its box my knuckle got scratched and I lost skin! How will my dog's paws feel on it? Also, it is designed to fit on a side door for a car. I have a Chevy Traverse and it doesn't fit at all. I guess the doors don't open wide enough. Bummer purchase. I was looking forward to it.
Effective but Bulky -

This ramp is effective for cars and lower-built SUVs, but somewhat less so for the full-size family truck. The grippy rubber feet are in a fixed position that is appropriate for only the lower vehicles. The surface is very rough, kind of sandy, and stands up to rain and mud with only a hose-down to clean it up. Storing the ramp for your journey is somewhat problematic, as this is a solid piece of plastic, and takes up the length of the back seat. I should have purchased a fold-up or telescoping ramp instead of this product.
Easy to Use Ramp -

Perfect size ramp to allow dogs to get in vehicles, even trucks. Our Springer Spaniel has trouble jumping because of his age and some joint issues. Ramp allows easy access to my Tahoe, so he can still go for his rides. Larger ramp was too heavy for me to handle. This half ramp is perfect.
For Hoover -

I don't know how it will work until I give it to Hoover for Christmas. Hoover is a bull mastiff, and it's getting harder and harder for him to get into and out of the van. Hope this will make it easier.
What you need to know before ordering... -
By: JulieCA from Lakewood, CA
This is a terrific idea, but the description did not fully explain that you need a very large, wide door opening to use this ramp. If you have a van with sliding doors or plan to use this at the tailgate area, this would be great. I have a Chevy Tahoe, and the doors to the back seat do not open a full 90 degrees so the ramp will not sit securely on the door frame. Hope this review will be helpful if you are considering this ramp.
