Great buy -

I actually these days have to purchase two different sizes so that a larger one will fit over my full foot/ankle brace left foot -- chuckle have a lot of lefts size 11 and same amounts in size 12 right of various boots and shoes! So I look for quality at the right price. Anyway these are nicely made like a tank great durability I suspect, just a tad heavy.(the reason for 4 stars). After wearing for an hour your muscles get used to them. Very comfortable. I am looking forward to getting some pheasant hunting with them on this coming Fall -- recommend
Excellent Field Boots -

I used my Irish Setter King Toe boots today for the first time and was very impressed with them. They were exceptionally comfortable and easily accomodated my wide feet. I would especially recommend them to hunters, dog trainers, etc.
A boot with room for the toes. -
By: Peacore from Cornwall, VT
I have used these boots for 1 month to hike in the fields and woods of Vermont. They have the room I need for my toes, that is often a problem for me and I have to buy longer boots which then tend to be too wide for walking side hills. I bought them for upland bird hunting and can tell they are going to be a exactly what I hoped to find. They were a little tight over the instep but have broken in fine. It's amazing how well they shed clay mud! Thanks Orvis, another good product for huting or general use.
Nice boot just wrong foot design -
By: vtupland from Shelburne, VT
A very nice boot and a very good price. Unfortunately it just didn't fit my foot right. Not the fault of the boot. It's hard to find the right boot especially when you normally wear an EE. Thought the big toe box would work but the bridge was tight. I'll keep searching.
Best Purchase Ever -

I purchased a pair of these boots, and I must say, it was one of the best moves that I've ever made! Straight out of the box, these boots were comfortable and the break in period was non-existent. They are as comfortable as a pair of tennis shoes, yet offer great ankle and arch support. The boots seem to extent my time afield, I can walk all day grouse hunting and not have the tight and worn out muscles that I use to have wearing other brands of boots! Now I can throw away the muscle relaxing ointment that I use to carry in my gear bag!
Great boots -

Irish Setters have always been my favorite boots. The King Toe makes them even more comfortable. I've worn them to break them in, preparing for an upcoming pheasant hunt. However, I think I could have worn them hunting right out of the box. They are that comfortable. Love the extra toe box room.
