First experience with Vintage Shoes...retail price is way too expensive...was happy to purchase 50% off. High quality product, comfortable and stylish as well.

Quality shoe looks great and very Good construction. However the Leather on the back of the shoe is Not high enough which causes it to Rub on the heel, bringing the back higher onto the Achilles tendon would solve this issue. I think this is A flaw that could easily be fixed by The maker.

Just got them in and will have to have them widened. Really like the shoe. I purchased a lot of my shoes in London to get the vintage shoe look . Thanks for asking . Their is no problem with the shoe , the problem is just a little narrow on my wide foot

I like the look and feel of these shoes. The only complaint is that the heel to sole connection is not neat.
Great shoe! -
I live in Chicago and for years have been wanting to have a real dress shoe that I could wear in winter. While this shoe is not meant to be an "all weather" shoe, the partial rubber sole and combination heel provide terrific traction on sidewalks that have not been salted or swept yet. However, beyond that, the sole and heel are standard dress shoe thickness so dress pants break the same as when I wear my AE dress shoes (the shoe line I have always bought until now). This shoe is also incredibly light. The shoe is the lightest pair of shoes I own and although I needed a tongue pad to get the fit right that was nothing compared to the look and performance of this terrific shoe. I did change the laces from the thicker, more casual laces that come with the shoes to the slim, dress laces I usually use but again, that was just a personal choice to make them pass as more of a dress than a casual, practical shoe.
The Vintage Leather Brogue shoe was not the quality of shoe that I wear. To be fair, the price of the product should have alerted me to a product of lower quality. I usually wear A/E, Aldon, and Mephisto shoes. The VLB shoe did not seem to have a "Goodyear welt" sole construction and the sole and heel looked like they may not be securely fixed to the rest of the shoe. The shoe was of a pleasing appearance, however, and the fit seemed to be a bit tight. I believe that shoes should be available in widths greater than D. You seem not to have a selection of widths in your shoes.
