While these suspenders are not as good as the ones offered earlier, I believe they are ok for the price. I have some from maybe 10 years ago I really like, and some newer ones from a couple of years ago that look like they may have received the attention of an MBA or two. Material not as nice, leather is flimsy. Clearly not the same quality as the earlier suspenders. However, having said that, I will also say the newer models are as good as any I have found lately including the ones from Washington State. Being a somewhat portly person I have spent a lot of time in suspenders/braces in hunting clothes and business suits, so I have some experience and these are ok......,These are good looking suspenders in the catalog and in person. The craftsmanship and materials are well done, but the suspenders are uncomfortable and are not worth it. The material in the straps have no give or elastic in them, and consequently they are very stiff, unyielding and uncomfortable. Pass on these and pick up another set elsewhere.,I have not been able to use these in the field yet, but they seem to be very well constructed.,Very nice looking suspenders, but the adjustable buckles are to small and cinch the webbing such that there is a large unsightly and uncomfortable bulge. Maybe the webbing is too heavy. Not sure if I'll ever wear them.
