Substandard quality watch -

The big second hand that is used to start and stop the timer resets incorrectly to 58 seconds instead of 0 seconds where it should be. Poor attention to detail in manufacturing. Leather watch band is quite large, too large for normal sized wrist.
Best gift for son -

This watch caught my eye in catalog. Decided to purchase for my son as a surprise gift. He was so happy to receive it. Made 2 calls to me thanking me for such a handsome watch. The watch made his day and the calls made mine.
Nice Face -
The face of this watch is beautiful and very classic. However the leather band that comes with this watch is not what you would expect. This item was a gift, and they ended up returning the item due to the leather band. Again, the look of the face is great.
Attractive watch -
This watch has a very good looking face and is classy and stylish as well as casual for everyday wear. However, the watch band that is shown on the online catalog looks NOTHING like the band that is actually on the watch. Also, the band is extra long (I think its 9.25 inches long). I ended up ordering a replacement band and now it fits. Overall, good looking watch, with a sub par band.
functional watch -
The watch has been working fine and keeping time. However, the large second hand didn't work originally, then worked for a couple days, and has stop working. The directions with the watch were not real clear.

In the event that your Orvis timepiece should require repair, simply send it to us along with our Watch Repair Form. We offer a full range of watch-repair services:
- Battery Replacement - New cell, gasket and water-resistance check, and two-day running test ($10 return shipping and handling fee applies).
- Damaged Watch Repair - We will examine your watch and contact you with a repair estimate.
- Band Replacement - We will replace your worn or broken watch band ($25 fee for new band and shipping and handling). Please note: If a direct replacement is not available, a similar band may be substituted.
- Watch Repair - If your watch should stop functioning during normal use, send it to us for inspection and repair, free of charge (excluding shipping and handling).
Secure your watch in a small, sturdy box. Please note that your packaging will not be returned to you - for this reason, we do not recommend that you send your watch in its original packaging. We also do not recommend that you send your timepiece in a padded envelope - your watch could be easily damaged, lost, or stolen in transit.
