    Unbelievable Likeness - 10/15/2014
    By: from east lyme, ct

I ordered this as a gift for my sister for Christmas. It came back well before and I must say the likeness of her is very good. The artist seemed to capture her personality in the portrait. Couldn't be more pleased. Just wish I had it framed as well.

Just what I was looking for - 11/23/2013
    By: from Douglasville, GA

Earlier this year I came up with the idea of having portraits created as Christmas presents but could not find anyone or place that was reasonably priced. I received the fall catalog with the Conte portrait on the back cover. I had some questions which were quickly handled by Orvis customer service acting as intermediary between me and the artist. I ordered two color portraits: one unframed of my 4 year old granddaughter for my daughter and one framed 3 person for my son. The 3 persons were of my husband, my son and my grandson all at the age of 2 1/2 or 3. I was extremely pleased with both and would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a timeless and unique portrait.

    Perfect gift.......... - 5/22/2013
    By: from Manchester Center, VT

I ordered this for my fiancee using a pic from our engagement photo session. I did not know what to expect and was a little apprehensive. Well let me just say that the sketch came out perfectly. Please be aware that it takes 6-7 weeks before you receive your order but it is well worth the wait. The picture was framed elegantly and makes the most ideal gift for someone you love. Words cannot express how happy I am with this purchase and am definately considering another as a future gift.

    Beautiful - 12/29/2011

The Portrait of my granddaughter was beautiful. I had it done for my son and daughter-in-law for Christmas. They were so happy with the portrait. The artist captured my little granddaughter exactly and made it a wonderful gift.

    Very nice job! - 12/29/2011

Uploading the colored photo was really easy. The artist was able to take a 4x6 photo and recreate my daughter's image - even capturing her dimples! Great job; highly recommended to anyone wanting something alittle different!

What a wonderful gift this is going to be for my bro and sister-in-law! They are going to love how the wonderful artist took their wedding picture and transformed it into a gift of a lifetime! The beautiful framing just compliments the portrait. Thank you again!

Portraits by Diane Morrow

Portrait Artist Diane MorrowArtist Diane Morrow started drawing portraits for classmates in the 6th grade for 3 cents each and was an instant success--she drew 29 portraits her very first day! Passionate about art and design, she went to college for her BFA, started working in graphic design professionally upon graduation, and continued drawing portraits. She gave her notice at a publishing company while expecting her first child. Diane says, "I wanted to stay home with the baby and had already told the editor that I would be quitting, when I got a call from [Orvis CEO] Perk Perkins asking if I would like to draw portraits for Orvis." Thrilled with this unexpected new opportunity, Diane remembers, "The very first order came when I was in the hospital having Jonathan." That was 17 years ago, and today Diane is a valued member of the Orvis family. We are proud to offer her work to our customers, and know that you will treasure it as much as we do.
