Zeiss shooting glasses pleasant surprise -
I had been looking for purple lens colored shooting glasses that were both affordable good quality for some time. These glasses I caught on sale and since they were so deeply discounted, I was a little suspicious. I got to try these recently and was pleasantly surprised how well I was truly able to see clays moving across deep green backgrounds. I found the glasses quite comfortable. I let my shooting partner try them for a while. He was impressed with the enhanced vision, but felt the glasses were bothering the bridge of his nose. The quality and performance represented an excellent value for the price.
Excellent Shooting Glasses -

These shooting glasses are of the quality befitting those of a much higher cost. The lens are as clear as you would expect and the field of view is second to none. Because the stems can be adjusted and the weight is as light as a feather, these glasses can be worn all day without a problem. I especially like the orange lens...they actually highlight the clays but at the same time do not strain me eyes. The glasses come in a highly padded clam shell case that will keep them pristine for a long time.
Great Glasses -
Just received these and they are fantastic and light as a feather. Frames are made in Italy and lenses by Zeiss. Can not beat the sale price of these only thing I would change is add a yellow lense set but not a big deal.

The Good - handsome looking set of glasses and lenses colors are a good all around choice, BUT for daytime shooting ONLY... the purple enhances an orange target against an open background and/or green trees in full/partial sun. The orange also enhance an orange bird, but in partly sunny or flat light... The not so good - the lens set is one lens short... a clear or yellow should have been part of the package for night or indoor shooting. Hard temple ends - bayonet-style, are not as comfortable as they should be for glasses at this price point, I could only wear them for a relatively short period before they became distracting. There is no height adjustment for the nose pads. At this price point, the product has limited uses and comfort is poor... Orvis work with your supplier to make some needed upgrades.
