NOT SO WATERPROOF -
By: xhomicidedick from BEAUMONT, CA.
THE UPSIDE: LIGHT WEIGHT, FLEXIBLE AND COMFORTABLE. THE DOWNSIDE: NOT SO WATERPROOF, AND I'M NOT TALKING ABOUT PUTTING THEM IN WATER...BUT MAKING SNOWBALLS WITH THE GRAND KIDS...MY HANDS WERE WET AND COLD.

These are probably one of the warmest gloves I have ever owned. I have not used them fly fishing yet but I suspect they will be ok but a bit cumbersome but in any event, it's the warmth I bought them for!!!

I work out doors in the film industry. These gloves are warm, waterproof and thin enough to enable me to handle a camera.

I have had injuries that resulted in poor circulation to my hands. Cold brings pain to several finger tips. These gloves have kept me warrm and dry to the tips of my fingers.
What I was looking for -
These gloves are exactly what they are advertised to be. No surprises. I am quite pleased.

great pair of gloves -
By: wawright from Rancho Cordova, CA
I purchased these gloves at a tent sale and used them right away on the skeet range. I thought they might be too bulky for my shotgun but it turned out that they were perfect for grip, warmth and fit.
Good cold weather hunting glove -
The features I was looking for was a good cold weather glove that had a covered trigger finger that fit easily into the trigger guard and wasn't so bulk that it didn't keep the trigger from recocking for the nest shot while pheasant hunting. This one filled the bill nicely.
Solid Gloves -
By: Marc7 from Bettendorf, Iowa
I bought these gloves for walking the dog daily, no matter what the weather, shoveling snow, and outside work. They are solid - good insulation, good tactile feeling, and they keep my hands warm regardless of the cold or wind or rain/snow. Get a pair--- you'll not be sorry.
Words like "Alaskan Pro" and "Glacier Glove" lead one to believe that this is a cold-and-wet-weather glove. These gloves are certainly waterproof, but for cold weather they are not. Sixty grams of thinsulate is not enough. These are good for cool-weather shooting, but heat just seems to leak out of them faster than I can make it, so for me they are absolutely unsuitable for cold weather. I'm returning them for this reason. If you have warmer hands they might be better for you.
