    Best Boots - 3/6/2014
By: from New York City, NY

The boots arrived just in time for a cold and soggy weekend. The boots offered geat support and are a real head turner.

Best Boots on Earth - 2/3/2014

there's no substitute for the Chameau boot. It's waterproof, warm and completely comfortable. the price may be high, but I rely on my Chameau boots in the icy New England winters and wet springs.

    Would love to have these boots, but . . . - 2/4/2012
    By: from Philadelphia, PA

Ordered these boots and was impressed by the quality of the product. However, for my correct foot size, the calf was far too tight. Orvis has only the standard (narrowest) calf size. Three larger calf sizes could be ordered directly from Le Chameau. However - Catch 22 - Orvis has exclusive rights to the Heritage boot in U.S.A. Therefore Le Chameau can't fulfill a special order, even though one cannot place a special order through Orvis.

    Bad Buckle - 1/25/2012
    By: from Texas

I’ve had two pair… One came in with a broken buckle strap and the other pair broke after wearing for one day. Unfortunately, I love the way the fit and I’m bummed that they didn’t work out…..

Le Chameau Heritage Boots... - 1/2/2012
    By: from Chesapeake, VA

fwiw, I'm quite pleased so far with the performance, fit, finish, and most importantly comfort of these boots. I was worried about a lack of width, however, the boots have proven to have plenty of width without feeling sloppy. They have also proven to be excellent when it comes to sweat prevention. I've worn then with heavy hunting socks as well as without socks and they have been equally comfortable and never clammy. Their price point gives them a great deal to live up to, however, if initial use is any indicator they will perform superbly...

Great Boot with Removable insole - 12/19/2011
    By: from Oakmont, PA

This boot is really great except that the strap at the top is advertised as adjustable and the fact is that it has a snap to cover the top of the zipper and is NOT adjustable. Very expensive boot that is overpriced by $100.00.

    Beautiful wellington boots - 12/14/2011
    By: from San Francisco,Ca

Just decided to buy these after spending a long time looking at them. The boots are very high quality and are super comfortable . The sizing is true to fit. I wear a size 10 1/2 and ordered the 43. They fit a bit snug with heavy socks on so I intend to exchange them for the 44 which is 11. The only issue is that they do not look very different from the 'Chasseur' which is much cheaper. All in all very high quality, rugged boots and should last a lifetime with proper care.
