Just one tiny drawback - 4/8/2015
    By: from Milton ma

These Boots are great . Very stylish and extremely comfortable. Sizing was a bit tricky but we got there in the end. If. like myself , you have had most of the top of your leg replaced with Titanium , extrication, even with the side zipper needs either a helping pair of hands or a boot jack. The major drawback is that they bear an uncanny resemblance to a pair worn by Jeremy Clarkson on his ill-fated trip to Patagonia. If you do not mind occasionally being called a "pugilistic nincompoopt" then these boots should be 5 stars for you!

The most amazing boots ever - 12/13/2014
    By: from Geneseo NY

Yes, they are the most expensive pair of wellies that I have ever bought, but oh so worth it. Arrived just before a big dump of snow. Too deep for hiking boots and snow shoes are just too slow. Have been worn every day for at least 5 miles a day. So smart, but more important, they are so comfortable. Based on my last pair of Le Chameau wellies I know they will last for years and years which makes them very good value indeed.

    Outstanding value - 12/7/2014

Excellent quality and fit-true to size. The size does allow user to wear a thick pair of socks. The boots performed extremely well in the field in the British mud. My feet stayed dry and warm. Walked several miles comfortably without any break-in required. Very easy to clean. Good stiching quality and the Gore-tex lining kept my feet dry and warm. Definitely worth the price.

High Boots for High Expectations - 5/20/2014

I recently purchased a pair of the Le Chameau Jameson boots to fill a couple of needs. Last Fall in North Dakota, the standing water was quite deep, well over 8" or 10" boots. I wanted something nicer than rubber Wellies and these looked nice. I also, on rare occasion, wear breeks and wanted high boots for wearing in the field. The Le Chameau Jamesons met every expectation for quality and fit. They run about a half-size large, even with high wool socks. The full-length zipper makes them easy to get on and off.

    Love these but.... - 5/6/2014

These boots are well made and quite comfortable. I could not keep them because I have large calves (more like cows) and the top of the boot was too tight and virtually precluded my pulling pant legs over the boots. Really liked them though and would have kept them.

    Missed the mark - 8/6/2013
    By: from Vienna, Austria

I'm a big fan of Le Chameau footwear. I own and use both their leather-lined Chasseur boot and the Verzon Nord--neoprene lined--boots for hunting in the US and in Europe. So when I came across these leather Jameson versions, I purchased a pair right away. However, upon receipt I noticed two things; the box that Orvis shipped them in was a box cobbled together from two smaller boxes. The box arrived barely held together and not at all professionally packaged/shipped as I have come to expect from Orvis. The first detail (a big detail) is the zipper on the boots. NOT YKK. The other versions I mentioned above both have YKK zippers which is a sign of quality. For the price paid for these Jameson boots I am shocked that they used generic zippers of dubious quality and reliability. I will be sending these boots back to Orvis, the minute I locate a box that they can be shipped in.

    Surprising comfort for High Arches/Instep - 4/20/2013

I bumped into these accidentally at Manchester and because they were 12.5 (my new late-middle-age size), I jumped on them. They are remarkably comfortable and supportive considering my high arch and instep. I have worn them for a day at Sandanona and mucking around with the dogs and find them excellent, although, warm, as expected for Gore-Tex lined boots; but that's what we're paying for. Overall highly recommended.
