Great Net for the Raft -

The Brodin Guide Net is perfect for float trips in my 13.5' Sotar raft. I made a slick holder right behind the dry box/rowers seat and the net is right there when you need it. It's a beautifully crafted net and is the perfect size for trout. It also floats, which came in handy once when one of my passengers fell in and dropped the net in the river (another story).
needs poly -
By: WesternMaineDrifter from Maine
Great net; light and long, perfect from a drift boat. Stain is nice, but doesn't last; after two weeks, it looked I'd had it for years. No poly and finish wears right off. Functional, yes, but i hoped to keep the beauty a little longer. I would recommend putting a coat of polyurethane on this net before using it. Btw, no problem netting small trout
A Net with Great Reach. -

I love the look of this net. A must have for netting fish from a boat or off the bank. Long handle helps you with the long reaches. I found it works well with fish up to 25 inches.
A great catch! -

This net excels for fishing out of a boat! I fish out of a skiff with casting plat forms front and rear and I had no issues at all reaching to the fish. I highly recommend this net!
Snag Free -
By: TheDudeMan from Asheville, NC
I use this net guiding in western North Carolina and frequently using dropper rigs I needed a net that was easy on the fish as well as snag proof. Not only functional, I also receive lots of comments on the beauty of the net itself. Love the extra reach at times as well.
Great Steelhead Net -
By: DNewpher from North Western Pennsylvania
When guiding on the lake Erie Tributaries I like to use a high quality net to assist in landing our steelhead that range from 4-15lbs. It's easier on the fish and my clients can easily tail the fish out of it's bag for photo ops. I have yet to find this net too small or too large to carry all day. Just tuck the handle through your wader belt and it's back out of the way and easily accessable for the next fish. Great net and worth every dime. Excellent for trout out of drift boats too!
Excellent net, but smaller than expected -
By: AKwill from AK
This is a great net for landing trout up to about 20 inches from a drift boat, but gets outgunned with larger fish and is not suitable for trout in the 24 inch range. I have since bought a different, larger net.
great net, light easy to hsndle also works well in a drift boat or pontoon. Comfortable to carry when guiding.
big improvement -
these long nets can be really heavy especially when all the rubber mesh is being dragged by fast current. This lighter and thinner silicone mesh has much less drag in the water and is very fish friendly. This is the best of these big boat nets I have seen. I would not recommend it for salmon or steelhead but for fish up to 6 pounds, it is excellent.

Mesh on the net is too large. Fish as large as 20 inches head go through and get cought in the gillplate.
